THE YOUNG COMPANY
If you have always wanted or wondered what it would be like to tread the boards and get under those lights then call us and sign up for the first of New Curtain's Community Projects.
This spring we are going to play to the hearts of many a local sports enthusiast when we will mount an adaptation of David Richard Adams's book HOCKEY DREAMS - (adapted for the stage by Theatre New Brunswick's Caleb Marshall). How many of us played hockey on a back yard rink? Who of us wanted desparately to grow up and play for the NHL? And who among us just weren't cut oput for it? Travel back to the 1960's to see what it was like to grow up and have all your dreams in the world before you.
Auditions for this production will be held on Sunday, February 26, 2012 at THE LOFT THEATRE at White Hills from 1 PM to 3:30 pm. We are looking for people of various ages for this production and for backstage and Front of House help as well as onstage actors.
We are looking for boys or young men to play between the ages of 10-17, one girl around 12/13 years old and one older male around 40.
